Our Story

We are a small independent family business from Derbyshire in the UK. By family business we mean all our employees are family - not just the owners!

We have been supplying luxury bedding to high end retailers for over 30 years.

When we were looking for a quality designer Cot Bed for our daughter, we were amazed by the lack of options. Even after searching the best retailers, we found that all their cots look similar, and are made from light weight materials.

We have had great pleasure in designing something completely different, that stands out, in terms of quality as well as style. We are passionate that this furniture should be used and enjoyed for a long time. This is why all of out cot beds are hand made by craftsmen from hard wood and are supplied with all of the extras to convert into a standard size double bed, included in the price.

We're committed to long-lasting & sustainable products

Our Mindi wood (Melia azedarach) is harvested from farmed projects in Indonesia, and has similar properties to Red Oak. It's straight-grain, and nearly knot-free texture is also naturally resistant to decay and fungus making it ideal for nursery furniture.

The Department of Forests encourage and enforce sustainable wood growth and harvesting practices. Community forest management has been identified as an ideal option for reducing deforestation while improving the welfare of rural communities in developing countries. We proudly support the 'Community Forest Management' schemes. This is an Indonesian government directive to source wood from small community managed farms that plant trees to re-use the same land in a sustainable way.
